  • What insurances do we accept?

    Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Duke Select, Wellpath, Humana, Medicare, UHC

  • Do we take Medicaid?

    No

     

  • Do we offer free cosmetic consultations?

    No.  There is a service fee for a cosmetic consultation which includes a VISIA analysis and treatment recommendations from Dr. Trakimas (see cosmetic consultations for further details).   Please contact us to inquire about current fees, promotions, or discounts.

  • What are your office hours?

    Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

  • What does D.O. mean?

    A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O. or DO) is a doctoral degree for physicians (medical doctors) in the United States.  Holders of the DO degree are known as osteopathic physicians.  DOs have the same education and training as MDs, with the addition of osteopathic manipulative medicine techniques.  Post-graduate and specialty training is exactly the same.

     

  • Do I have to pay at the time of the visit?

    Yes.  All payments, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurances, are due at the time of your visit.

  • What forms of payments do we accept?

    Cash, Check, Visa, MC, Discover

  • Do we take CareCredit?

    Yes.  However, for these no interest payment plans,  our minimum purchase is $1000, except for Allergan products ( Botox/Juverderm) where there is no minimum.   Any mix of products and services both cosmetic and medical can be combined to make up the minimum purchase.

  • How much does a self pay medical consult cost?

    Medical consultation fees vary depending on the complexity of your problem and the medical circumstances of your case.  Please contact us to discuss and obtain an estimate.

  • What is your cancelation policy?

    We work strictly by appointments and therefore expect 24 hour notice for any cancelations so that we can offer the time to another patient who may be waiting.  If we do not receive 24 hour notice, you will incur a $75.00 no show fee

  • Does my visit require a referral?

    It depends on your insurance policy.  Please check with your insurance carrier before making an appointment.

  • How many physicians do you have?

  • Do we perform MOHS surgery?

    No

  • Are we accepting new patients?
